Kickoff Training
We conduct interactive training sessions for all bank personnel. These sessions include:

  • Why the bank is embarking on this important new strategy
  • How High Performance Checking will benefit customers, employees, and the bank
  • How the new strategy will be marketed to the bank’s communities
  • Details of the new checking account product set
  • How to determine the best account for every customer
  • How the account opening process has been streamlined to allow more time to build relationships with customers
  • How to identify other financial needs and make appropriate recommendations for products and services beyond the checking account
  • How team members in support positions at the bank can assist with the success of High Performance Checking

Follow-Up Training
Mystery shopping is followed by an executive review of highlights of the shop and delivery of branch reports, as well as training sessions for all front line employees. The training is highly customized to address the issues and concerns identified during the mystery shop. Results are presented in a positive manner, and training sessions focus on appropriate learning opportunities. Employees leave these sessions invigorated and with a renewed commitment to the superior execution of HPC.

HPC Excellence Training
Approximately nine months after implementing HPC, a day-long workshop is held for key leaders and branch managers to maintain the momentum and reinforce the concepts that were introduced during the implementation training. This customized workshop allows managers to delve deeper into the economic value of checking accounts and related cross-sales. Discussions about coaching, motivating, and best practice sharing prepare managers to take HPC to the next level.
